Tonight's plans......

My life is complete!

Yes, it's true, Scrubs is now available on iTunes! I had to hold myself back from purchasing the entire season. The writers of that show are the ONLY comedy writers who get a standing ovation from me! Dr Cox is the FUNNIEST character on the planet!

So, seriously, how did I live before I had an iPod? I can't believe how much I use it now. I haven't listened to the radio in weeks and I am even taking my iPod to bed now! This MUST be true love! I think my iPod might need a name... got anything creative for me? You all know how I love to name things! ;) Yep, another crazy Rachael-ism!

Not much else exciting today... work was busy which made the day pass quickly. Scott has been working like a madman (83 hours last week alone). If you saw my layout yesterday (called "I am such a fool AKA My husband is a jerk") you know that I dont even want to talk about him right now anyway. lol

Have an awesome Wednesday night! Catch ya tomorrow! XO

-----------------------> Look this way!

Arrows are *so* hot right now... they are such a great way to direct the eye to an important element on your layout! Check out these super fab arrows from Shawna Clingerman! And guess what! They are a FREEBIE!!!!! How cool is that!?

Thanks, Shawna!

Silence

When I wake up before 5am, it is usually silent and I love it. I can hear my own heart beat and mentally prepare for my day. Of course, my day doesn't need much preparation because it's my day off, LOL, but I might as well enjoy being awake away! :)

Saturday night was tons of fun! I really enjoyed meeting some of Judi's friends and family. I have already created a layout to remember the night! :)

My fingers are crossed to go see Nickelback at the Verizon Arena on Thursday. I must have listened to "Savin Me" like 100 times in the past 2 weeks. I tend to fixate like that! The other song I find myself playing over and over right now is "Ever The Same" by Rob Thomas. Got any other recommendations for me??

Going for more coffee since the clock struck 5am... have a great day!

Friends

Ha! Can you believe it????? I can still claim to be scraptastic (also known as biscraptual in some circles, LOL)! I created my first paper layout for myself in about 4 months!!!!!!! Yeah, I know it's nothing special, but I am okay with that! I need to keep in practice for SDV weekend in July! Melissa would KILL me if I tried to bring a laptop! LOL

So, we had a really fun time at Pam's house last night.... great eggplant pizza, delicious Midori Margaritas and awesome friends! Here are a few pictures that you will probably see in scrapped form soon! :)

I am totally looking forward to going to Holiday's tonight! Just 7 or so hours, not that I am counting, LOL :)

Praise the Lord!

I spoke with Dane's eye doctor this morning! The MRI did not show any growth behind his eye causing the fat prolapse. The MRI did note swelling in his sinuses and some fluid as well, which the doctor will report to Dane's PCP, but he didn't seem concered about it! Dane doesn't need to go back to the eye doctor for a year!

Thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts! I really appreciate it!

Fun Friday! ;)

Yeah! TGIF! So, last night... we went to the restaurant for 5pm. It was fantastic- perfect in every way! The food was beyond good and the Kettle One Vodka? Definitely great to see such a good friend there, rotfl! :) I took pics, embarassing my husband, LOL, so I will scrap them at some point. After dinner, we headed over to Bingo Night at the school. It was a blast! I had such fun sitting with some neighbors and joking with the kids at the table. Dylan later told me I was embarassing, LOL :) That's what Moms are for, right?

I have some errands I need to do today and then tonight is Girl's Night at Pam's! I CAN'T WAIT! I can't say I will get any scrapping done (I haven't even thought of packing, LOL), but I am looking forward to hanging out with Lesley, Melissa & Pam. It feels like FOREVER since I have seen them! I think I may have a few laughs up my sleeve, too! Hee hee

OK, off to wake the kids for school and get my day going. I am almost done with my second cup of coffee, so I have no excuses, LOL Have a fabulous Friday!!!

Checking in...

This is the kind of scrapper I wish I could be all the time. Clean & focused. I just love it when everything comes together and working with designs from Tia Bennett make it a breeze!

Sooooooooooooo, let's see... what else is new you ask? Ummmmm.... not much! LOL I worked Monday and today and I am working tomorrow. No major situations there. I was super excited to create some layouts on Monday for packaging for products that will be sold in WalMart nationwide! I can't wait to see my cute boys looking at me as I walk through the store! :)

Scott is beside himself with excitement as Holiday's is FINALLY opening, almost a year after the scheduled opening date! He & Steve really pulled it together for the owners in the past 4 months and they are excited to see the fruits of their labor and get back to doing what it is they truly love- cooking! I created a layout yesterday to share my thoughts on going to back to the "single mom" mentality of raising the kiddos with a husband working 90 hours a week. The pity party is over now, though, so I won't bore you with the details. You can view the layout in the gallery if you are so inclined... it's called "Jump"!

I am looking forward to a very fun weekend... tomorrow is dinner at Holiday's and then maybe Bingo Night at the school (if I can drag myself there, LOL)- Friday is Girl's Night at Pam's house and Saturday I am meeting my Basketball Mom Friends at Holiday's for some beverages in the evening! Yeah! Doesn't that sound like fun? I had better charge up the camera battery! :)

Wanted to randomly update you all that I have lost about 5 pounds or so. Giving up ice cream forLent has been quite beneficial to me. Now that Scott is back to work, I will be eating dinner less often, too. Matter of fact, after I cooked for the kids tonight, Dylan asked me if I was eating and when I said no, he asked if I was afraid to eat my own cooking! Ha ha ha... I mean, seriously, people have only barfed ONCE after eating my cooking...... so what if that is the only meal I ever cooked for my friends? ROTFL

OK, finishing my glass of yucky red wine and heading to bed for the night... it will be an early morning! Be well! XO

Monday morning quarterbackin'...

It's going to be sad when I run out of fun Monday captions, huh? ROTFL... yep it is Monday morning here in NH and it's still dark and I am already funny, what can I say? I have been "on" lately.

Guess I better play weekend catch up. Shortly after my last entry I picked up the kiddos as school (which they were not expecting) and we headed to the airport to pick up my Mother in law. She flew up because her sister (Scott's aunt) had a massive heart attack last week and was on life support. Over the weekend, she was removed the life support and is doing better.

Saturday we attended an ice skating party for a friend's son. The kids had a blast! I did not. Well, I did, but I ended up not skating because the lights were flickering making me lose parts of my vision and feel sick. It was like being carsick or something! Ugh!

Yesterday was a total chillin' out day. I did scrap a few layouts last night that I am wanting to share! I was in such a silly mood... I think you will definitely see that pattern.

I love green beverages!

OK, first of all, my iPod is cranked so loud in my ears I can hardly think.... I love it! Blow out my eardrums, LOL :)

Second, seriously, I love being Irish and I love green beverages, even if they are just colored by food coloring.

Third, Dane's dr's office called.... they dont have the results and his doctor is away from the office till Thursday so it will be another SIX DAYS until we know anything! :(

Sorry I cant be more entertaining today, but my brain seems to be on a little vacation....

Not a real post...

I just hopped on for a few before bed and was SO excited to see that my blog made it to the top 50 on the Top Digi Blogs site! One person even left a comment!! Check it out here:
http://topdigiblogs.fishscraps.com/index.php?a=stats&u=InLoveWithDOTS
I feel like Rudolph when he first learns to fly because he is loved! Weeeeeeeeeeee, I'm her girl! LOL :)

Have a fantastic night... I will see you wearing the green tomorrow, on the day when everyone is Irish... but I *really* am! :)

It's kind of like a popularity contest....

Saw this on Gina's blog so I had to get one of my own. If you have half a sec, would you click on this link!? Thanks! XO

More Rachael-isms

I am having a BLAST with the things that make me "me"! In fact, I am enjoying it so much that I have created my first layout to fit the theme! I really hate this picture of myself looking like a blubber whale, but I've got to tell my story through my layouts and part of the real story is the down time- the moments when I forget to stand up straight, suck in my gut and do my hair, LOL.

I have a couple more things to add to the list!
7. (Thanks to Jen for the reminder on this one) I must read while I eat. If I am at home, it's usually a scrap magazine. If I am at a restaurant, I will read the menu or even a table tent if there is nothing else. In other eating related quirks, I eat dinner in the living room and usually laying on my stomach on the floor. This is probably not good for my digestion, but it's me, LOL
8. I like to drive with my left leg crossed over my right. This tends to freak out my friends. LOL
9. When reading a magazine, I start with the Letters to the Editor (thanks to Pam for sharing with me that this is actually quite common) and then I flip straight to the back of the magazine and work my way forward.

In other news, I got a fun email from a buddy of mine on Heather Roselli's Creative Team. She shared that I was being scraplifted as a part of a challenge right here! Of course, the last time I looked, no one but the challenge hostess had actually scraplifted me (lol), but I was still super excited to be chosen, especially at a site I am not all that familiar with!

In sad news, Scott got word today that his aunt had a heart attack and is currently on life support. My heart breaks for him because I know it's difficult for him to see her like that. The family has been in a battle of sorts for over a year now and the whole situation is heart breaking, this just compounds everything. My prayers are with Kathy and her family tonight.

Hopefully the eye doctor will call tomorrow with the results of Dane's MRI. I am trying to reassure myself that if there was some sort of major issue, we would know by now. Right? Right? Tell me I'm right!

OK, my iPod is done updating with some new tunes (Tom Petty, The Doors and more) so I am off to bed! Have a fantastic Wednesday night! :)

"My Today"

OK, first of all I want to share a layout that highlights the most important part of my day... Dane's MRI...

Second, I need to start documenting the weird things that make me "me"... I become aware of these little oddities at random moments and would like to add them here so you can know me a little better and so that I can eventually scrap them! If you are reading this and happen to know a weird Rachael-ism feel free to leave it in the comments or email me directly! :)

Let's start things off with the following:
1. I like to name my days of the weeks. Yes, if you have been reading this blog for any length of time, you probably knew this because of "Guilt Free Digital Tuesday", LOL
2. I hum. I hum like crazy and not just when there is music. I can most often be found humming hymns from church or from children's tv shows. I am usually not even aware I am doing it and when I become aware I abruptly stop, lol. This is in fact a step up from the "buzzing" I did when I was a child. I wish my Mom were alive to retell that story. She laughed and laughed about it.
3. I say "So listen" WAY too much. Again, never realized I did this until a friend pointed it out and now every time I say it, I laugh.
4. I don't like fluffy pillows. I like a flat single pillow folded in half. In other bedtime related info, I like to sleep with one foot out from under the covers. I also rub my feet together before I fall asleep.
5. I can't bake without singing into the spoon or spatula.
6. I type fast... really fast! The kind of fast that makes people in my office come over to my little cube to watch... and I only use 2 fingers!

Hmmmmmm, I am stumped so I guess I will end at 6 for today, but if you like useless trivia about people you barely know, feel free to stop back to see what I might come up with!

I hope you all had a fab Tuesday! My kids were home from school for a Teacher Workshop Day so I didn't get a whole heck of a lot of anything done! That's okay... it's always nice to see them an extra day! :) Work tomorrow for me! Have an awesome night!

I interupt this blog to bring you mush...

Do you ever have one of those days? You know, the kind where everything seems to happen in slow motion? Where thoughts seem to slow down and everything becomes a lot clearer? I had one of those rare moments today on the way home from work. I listened to songs that brought me back to my youth.... back to my twenties and songs with lyrics that remind me of what is important to me today.

I remember my mother saying to me once that her resolution was to speak less and mean more. That has stuck with me. So much of what I say is a waste. Words spoken without meaning. Words not worth remembering.

This blog post is something different. These words are the ones that matter. While I will not be able to say everything I have ever needed to say to everyone who is important to me, it's going to be a start. That's what each day is about- starting over.

Scott, You're still the one. You have always been the one. I knew that from the moment I met you and said "I am going to get him"! I love you as much today as the day we married and I am thrilled to be sharing my life with you. I love you!

Victoria, My precious daughter. It's such a strange time in your life for me. I look at you one minute and see the little girl you have been and another minute and see the woman you will become. You have a good head on your shoulders and I know you will make it through the tough years ahead. I love you!

Megan, Oh Megan! I can't say it any other way... you make me crazy, kid! I know you have such potential... you can be ANYTHING you want if you just apply yourself. PLEASE think about what you are doing. Think about your actions and how they hurt those around you. I love you!

Dane, My first born son! I tell you I hate 8..... I do..... I hate it because it means letting go of the little boy who needed me so much.... the little boy who wanted to grow up and marry his mommy. I hate that you are more independent and you don't need me like you did. I know we will find our way and that you will always be my special little boy. I love you!

Dylan, my perfect little angel! Every single day I thank God for bringing you into my life. I think He knew I needed you. He knew I needed a sweet mild mannered child to hug me when I need it most and tell me I am beautiful just because I am your Mom and to bring smiles to everyone you meet! I love you!

Nicole, Wow, 16! Almost an adult... almost, but not quite! It's hard, I know it's hard, I remember 16 like it was yesterday. I am so glad we came through the tough times to have the friendship we have today! You are a beautiful girl and I am proud to call you my stepdaughter. I love you!

Melissa, Where would I be without you? I love that you are as crazy as me, that you understand my rants and vent right alongside me. I am so thankful that scrapbooking brought us together so many years ago. I am so lucky to call you my friend. I love you!

Lesley, Ha ha ha, I laugh when I think of you! I can hear you laughing when you read this.... we really should do that stand up act one day. I love that we can talk for hours about nothing and everything. I am so thankful that you forgave me and that we have been able to rebuild our friendship. I love you!

Jen, I miss you, but I know we have the kind of friendship that miles don't come between. You know you can call me crying and I won't laugh (unless you laugh first) and I can call you crying and you will say "See? I told you it's okay to cry! Doesn't that feel better?" LOL Seriously, though, thank you! I love you!

Sherri, The years I have known you cannot be summed up here and I think you know that. You've seen me through more ups and downs than anyone in my life. I am so thankful to have had you by my side supporting me all the while. Seriously, thank you. I love you!

Jen, Purdy girl, what's up???????????? You're killin' me with your lack of communication, girl. We have grown apart and I hate it. I hate it SO much. I know in my heart, though, that you are the one I could call totally blasted at 3am to talk me off a ledge or to listen to me say "I love you, man" and not even be mad. You can't say THAT about many friends now, can ya? I love you!

Wooooooooooooooooooooo, dog! this post is getting super long....... makes me feel so amazingly blessed to have so many amazing people as a part of my life......... I better keep going.............

Dad, Wow....... how cool is it that it feels like forever I have known you and yet it's hasn't even been 8 years yet? Each day I am in awe of our unique situation and reunion story and I am so proud to call you my Dad. I love you!

Madeline & Betty, Like I said in the yearbook and then The Office Book...... still working on repaying you for what you've done for me. I am getting old enough now to accept that there may never be repayment for the strength you taught me when I needed it most. I love you!

Gary. Gary, Gary, Gary...... I don't even know if I need to say ANYTHING at all for you to know how I feel. My longest time best friend, lots of laughs, lots of tears. Seriously, stand on your head! Throw up Cat Baby right now! I love you!

Steve, Seriously, how can anyone be as happy as you are all the time? I wish I could be more like you! Knowing you has been a pleasure... I am glad to have you as a part of our family! I love you!

Jen9, Yeah, I know, are you surprised to see yourself listed in here? You have been on my mind TONS as of late. I am not sure why, but I know I need to give you a shout out. I keep feeling like I need to thank you for your friendship and remind you that I am here for you if you need me. You are my all time favorite stalker! lol I love you!

Pam, Remember when you went from "internet friend" to real friend? LOL I am so glad that we have gotten closer recently. I so enjoy your friendship.... you are my favorite 40 year old ever! LOL I love you!

Kim, You are one cool chick! I am so glad that Alex & Dane brought us together! I enjoy the time we have spent hanging out... I love the way you think and enjoy discovering all the things we have in common! I love you!

Judi & Sylvie, My basketball mom friends! Man, this year BIT THE BIG ONE without the 2 of you. I missed you guys so much and I can't wait until that damned restaurant opens so we will have the perfect excuse to get together and laugh ours butts off again! I love you, girls!

Colleen, You are so wise beyond your employment, LOL.... I am very lucky to work alongside you and I enjoy your company and sense of humor immensely. I love you!

Barbara, Thank you for being an amazingly wonderful boss- kind, caring, concered as well as organized, smart and focused! I admire what you do for ATD and who you are as a person! I love you!

OK, I am posting now before Blogger loses this jumbo mammoth post... then I am off to bed. I know there are a zillion more people I need to thank, but just as I had to start somewhere, I must stop somewhere, too. I will revisit this at some point in the near future.

Oh, and for anyone who actually read this entire post and made it to the end... thank you! The people above are ones you would be lucky to know! I know I am! :)

Good Monday Morning!

Despite going to bed at 8:30pm, I still didn't want to wake up this morning and hit snooze twice! LOL Today is my "long day" at work... and it could be moving day, you know, to the new office downstairs! How exciting! ;)

I figured I would share a layout today because I have been bad about doing that since I added the gallery. This layout is of my sweetie, Dylan, looking very Harry Potterish in my glasses. He just LOVES to wear them and the prescription isn't all that strong so I let him.

As for those cookies I sorted yesterday. I made a mistake. A BIG one. I hate that I did it, but I did and I am owning up to it. I under ordered Samoas by several cases. *sigh* Man, it really stinks and it's going to make things so confusing for delivery and it's going to be one more thing I need to get done... locating & picking up more. Grrrrr, I could just kick myself!

Guess that's all the news from here... have an awesome Monday! :)

Sunday, March 12, 2006

Sunday, Sunday...

I have been up several hours already. Damned acid relux. It seems fine for a few days and then it's so bad that the acid literally pools in my mouth as I sleep. I can just feel the holes forming in my esophogus! YUCK!

So, the cut color and foil did in fact happen yesterday. It's not really a drastic change other than the new lack of grey which I am happy about. Victoria's foils were much chunkier and lighter so her hair looked quite different. I will have to take some pics of her this week, especially since she had her eye teeth fixed over vacation!

We also went over to Fashion Bug afterwards. Not that we hadn't spent enough money at the salon (I nearly choked when she told me the total), but I had a gift certificate from Christmas that I was wanting to use. I got a pair of kahki pants, a super cute pair of jeans and a couple tops. I also got some sun glasses, new shoes and new earrings. I haven't worn earrings in YEARS so that was quite a rare treat for me! I don't know if they will even be noticable with my hair so long these days, but it does make me feel a bit more "lady like". It's all about the self confidence, right?

So, before we head to church, I still need to sort Girl Scout cookies for the troop so they can be picked up today. I *really* hate this job. It's not even hard, just time consuming, but I am totally burned out on cookies. I don't need these cookies staring me in the face when I am as fat as I am these days! *sigh*

I am working Mon, Weds and Thurs this week. The kids are off for a Teacher Workshop day on Tuesday. Where the heck is the ME time in that?? I must have my "me time" or I get quite grouchy! I don't know how, but I will have to sneak in a few minutes somehow!

Well, I guess that's it for now! Have an awesome Sunday!

A whole lotta Saturday randomness!

Wow, a whole lotta randomness for you today! First of all, a shout out to my PEEPS, Lesley & Jen, who I just recently found out are blog readers of mine. You might THINK that they are only my "blog reading friends", but oh no, these girls are my true friends! You know, the "real" kind, the ones you can call anytime day or night. The ones you laugh with (& the ones you cry with... especially JEN, hee hee). Anyway, it's pretty funny that they are catching up on my life through my blog. I just haven't been in a chatty mood lately, not sure why!

OK, let's see... what else? Oh yes, the Pinewood Derby was today! My den kicked Pinewood BUTT! lol :) Seriously, they did a fantastic job, I am so thrilled for all of them! I wanted to share a picture Dane took of me with a few boys from the den. They are the ones that make it all worthwhile! They are such a funny group of kids- so enthusiastic about life! On a side note, I apologize for the quality of the photo. Our school gym has the WORST lighting on the planet! Seriously, I think rodents get better pictures in gutters, LOL.

As you may have noticed, my hair is SERIOUSLY out of control grey at the moment. I haven't had my hair cut or colored since SEPTEMBER when I had my avatar picture taken! Today as I pulled out more grey hairs that were sticking straight up, I said to myself "Self, I can't take this for even one more minute!". I then finished driving home and called to schedule myself an appointment for the works. Then, I though to myself "Self, it would be more fun if you weren't alone", so I made an appointment for my oldest daughter Victoria to get her hair done, too! She is going to be THRILLED (well, that is, if she isn't a crab from being up late at a sleepover last night, LOL). Hopefully by this evening I will be beautiful again...... oh wait, it's not like I scheduled lyposuction and breast recduction surgery. *sigh* Ah well, baby steps.... I'll just take baby steps! LOL

In gallery news, I crossed the ONE THOUSAND mark for projects uploaded! You can visit the gallery by clicking the gallery link at the top of this screen! :)

That's it for the moment... not sure what the heck I am going to do for the next couple hours... I may work on more Circle Journal entries or sort Girl Scout Cookies or do the laundry... or.... or... it's always something, right? You moms know! ;)

Have an awesome Saturday!

Howdy!

Howdy,

I refuse to start this post with "what a bad blogger I have been", but I guess it's true! I haven't been checking in each morning like I should, leaving my 1 faithful blog reader hanging (hi Pam!) Today's excuse is that my email was magnetic, sucking me in and keeping me there! LOL I didn't find time to do much else... well, that's not totally true! I scrapped 3 digital pages! Yeah me! :) Oh, and I took a shower, so that counts for something, right? LOL

I am very excited to be home this weekend! Even though it means I won't be scrapping with friends, it means I will be able to attend the Pinewood Derby with my den! I can't wait to see the cars the boys created! That reminds me, I had better charge up my camera battery!

So, I was thinking today... I really hate callers who block their number on caller id. I mean, seriously, if they are going to block their number, why would I answer the phone!? Unfortunately, this mentality caused me to miss an important call today, but I still stand by my conviction not to answer anonymous calls.

The hospital called to confirm Dane's MRI. One 8 year old boy + one hour of staying completely still... can it happen? Stay tuned, as I will report back next week!

OK, I am outta here! The kiddos are home and the house could use some tidying! Have a fabulous Friday night! :)

What a day!

Yesterday was quite a day! First of all, the doctor didn't come in to the room to see Dylan until 1 1/2 hour after his scheduled appt time. Then, it turns out that what he has had since January is PNEUMONIA! He is on antibiotics now and will hopefully be feeling better soon.

Then, after school we had to race out the door to go to Dane's eye appt. Yup, you guessed it, we had to wait there, too. The dr decided that we should get an MRI to get a closer look at the bulge in Dane's eye, so at 6:30am next Tuesday, that's where we will be.

After the appt, I still needed to buy the new car, eat dinner, get Megan to and from Girl Scouts and attend a CCD teacher's meeting at church! Mix in a ringing phone and it was MAHEM around here!

Today should be a little calmer. I kept Dylan home for another day of rest. I need to head to the Town Hall and register my car, but other than that, I don't have too much planned. PHEW!

Soooooooooo? How are YOU doing? Leave me a comment if you are reading this, would ya?

Monday, March 06, 2006

So, I was right!

A trip to the doctor's office for my boy is in order today! His cough is just terrible and now that we finally have health insurance coverage again, it's time for him to go. Megan was feeling crummy today, too, so I half expect a call from her school.

In other news, I am getting a new car today! Not *brand* new, but new to me! I am VERY excited! Just before Christmas, the mechanic told us the minivan was on it's way out, so I started driving the Expedition and Scott grumpily took the minivan. Well, my Dad, being the PHENOMINAL guy that he is, is treating me to a 2000 Blazer (at least I think that's what it is, LOL)! I am going to buy it this afternoon! Woohoo- 4 wheel drive of my very own! I am THRILLED!

My gallery now holds more than 950 items! I add new stuff daily so feel free to browse around. Oh, and please know that some of the designs are a built older. The digi stuff is the newest!

Giallongo Tax Update

Woohoo- just a quick check in from me as I unbury myself from forms, schedules and receipts... it looks like I did a good job this year having myself a nice pile of expenses... it looks like we will be getting a pretty good refund! :) This will definitely help in the new "debt reduction plan" we are setting up with my Dad! :) Yeah!

Oh, and for the record, in case any IRS dudes are reading this, I don't claim anything I can't back up with a receipt! As much as I am tempted to "recall from memory" some of my expenses, I don't. I have a good amount of fear of the IRS based on the fact my father used to work there!

Misc. Sunday Morning Things

1. My boy Dylan is sick. I hate seeing him so miserable. He has had this cough for 6 weeks now, but the fever came back yesterday! :( I have a feeling a trip to the dr may be in order tomorrow.
2. We saw Pink Panther yesterday. I napped about 15 minutes of it. It was TERRIBLE! The kids liked it, though, so I guess that's what matters.
3. Today is Giallongo Tax Day. Once we return home from church, I will be sitting down with all the forms and receipts and figuring our taxes. Fingers crossed we get back a few dollars! :)
4. The usual lead CCD teacher is away today so I am "in charge". Wish me luck... I am out the door right now!!!!

Happy weekend!

Hi everyone,

Sorry I am a day late! Blogger was giving me FITS yesterday! So, when I woke this morning, I watched a little news, grabbed some coffee and then headed over to the The Digi Chick for the 50% sale! I had a $10 gift certificate so I was able to get quite a few nice things! There was also a new FREE Designer Sample from HeatherRoselli so I grabbed that, too! :)

I completed several layouts including 2 with Christine Smith's kits and 2 with Heather Roselli's new kits! I also used the Refresh kit I mentioned yesterday to created "A Time For Change" layout. I had started it with the idea that it would have no photos and a lot more intensive journaling, but this is where it ended up and I am happy with it. For full design credits, you can view this layout in my gallery! :) BTW, the Treasure Hunt for the Refresh kit is still on--- go check it out! :)

While I believe that designing many pages digitally is a productive day, my husband does not share that thought. I told the kids that if we can get the house clean, we will go to the movies. Now that it's "out there", I had best follow through!

Have an awesome Saturday! :)

So, whatcha doing tomorrow?

Wanna scrap? Great! Meet me tomorrow at The Digi Chick's Grand Reopening! Oh my gosh, it's going to be awesome! Two days of total funness!!! Wait until you see the Refresh Kit you can get for free... The Digi Chick Designers teamed up with Shabby Princess and Jen Wilson to create this kit! You definitely won't want to miss out! Oh, and the 50% sale on Saturday has me all tingly inside, LOL :)

Not much else new in my little corner of the world... I have crossed the 800 mark for items uploaded into the gallery. It's a very slow process! LOL A big SHOUT OUT to Pam and Debbie who took the time to register in the gallery and leave some comments for me! You girls rock! Thank you so much for making my day/week/month! :)

I placed a large order last night at A Cherry on Top. I had 2 gift certificates and with my CT discount, well let's just say I "cleaned up". It sure is fun to shop online in my jammies and ACOT has an awesome selection with all the newest goodies- including BASIC GREY! Woohoo! Now, if I could just get myself to paper scrap something! Maybe seeing all those new goodies will do the trick for me! :)

I plan to do several digi pages tomorrow while Scott is off skiing with the kids, so be sure to check back... especially if you'd like to see TDC's Refresh kit in action! Being on the Creative Team sure has it's perks! :)

Have an awesome night!
